Beautiful bronze sculpture of goddess Guanyin on horseback. Guanyin or Quan Yin is the Chinese goddess of mercy and compassion and is called on by worshippers in times of uncertainty, despair and fear. She is based on the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. This sculpture has great detail of the horse, as well as the goddess as she sits in her robes, one hand held near her heart. Most likely Qing dynasty, 19th century.

Approximate dimensions - 7 inches in height and 6.75 inches in width.
