Vintage silver plated mechanical perfume caddy in the shape of a bud. The cover is in two parts and has an etching of petals on it. The finial on top is the lever, and pushing it down releases the catch that opens up the bud to reveal a caddy for 4 scent bottles. Fashioned after 19th-century French mother of pearl and tortoiseshell “egg” mechanical perfume holders.
