Edwardian silver plated teapot in a neoclassical boat shape body. The lower half of body is gadrooned, and the same reeded pattern continues on the spout and hinged lid. The handle and finial are ebonized wood, and the finial is split but is held together with a fitting. The stamps at the bottom read EP, JD&S, 4639 and have the trumpet and banner mark that signifies that it was made by James Dixon and Sons in Sheffield, England in the early 1900s.
