Vintage Parsi box meant to be a part of a ceremonial 'ses' tray. It would have been used to contain some of the auspicious items like almonds, dates, betal nut, silver coins or even yoghurt. It has beautiful repousse foliage all over the body and hinged cover, which also has a patterned lock.
