Vintage tray with hand-done engraving of a Kathakali dancer's face. The scalloped edges of the tray have a cast edging of acanthus leaves and flowers. The engraving is very detailed and the mask, mukut and jewellery are intricately patterned. Made of brass, from Kerela, should be from around the mid-1900s.
