Vintage silver plated Tibetan photo frame in the shape of a Gau or a traveling shrine. It has the eight auspicious Buddhist symbols of good fortune, and these are supposed to be the gifts that the Gods offered to the Buddha after he attained enlightenment. At the bottom is the face of Vajrabhairava, the protector and guardian, and a wrathful deity. The back has beautiful embossed patterns as well. The hardboard backing for the frame is newly replaced.
