Gorgeous Japanese chest of drawers with very beautifully detailed chrysanthemums and cherry blossoms “kiku” & “sakura” in high relief on all sides. The top has a dragon flying with Mount Fuji in the background, and the “rolling thunder” pattern which looks like the Greek Key, as the border. The casket has long top drawer and two smaller lower drawers with handles to pull them out. The inside of the drawers are lined with light wood. It stands on 4 curved feet, one of which looks like it has had some work done. Early 1900s, made in Japan.
