Beautiful black jasperware Wedgwood plate to commemorate Mother's Day from 1971. It has a neo-classical theme of a mother playing with a cherub, with an urn on the side. The cartouche below reads “Mother” and the plate has a border of a gold garland. The back is stamped with “Wedgwood Made in England 71”.

This plate is approximately 6.5 inches in diameter and weighs roughly 272 grams.
