Very old hand-carved cherub or angel’s head with wings. The two wings symbolizes divine wisdom and justice and the cherubim are the guardians of the sacred places. This piece has finely carved waved and curls on the hair, and feathers on the wings. May be hung on the wall or placed on a mantle on the stand as is. From Goa, late 1800s.
