Vintage hand-carved angel’s head with wings. The two wings symbolize divine wisdom and justice and the cherubim are the guardians of the sacred places. This piece has finely carved waves and curls on the hair and feathers on the wings. May be hung on the wall or placed on a mantle on the stand as is. It is most likely carved out of Sal wood and should be from a church in Goa or South India.
