Old Soul Candle Stand XX

Pair of silver-plated octagonal candlesticks, identical pieces are at the Mount Vernon Museum and were acquired by George Washington for the executive mansion, and those are dated 1796. They are distinguished by neoclassical fluting along the column, beaded borders, and swag decoration on the shoulder. Made in England. May be bought as a single piece or a pair.
