Old Soul Censer I

Size Guide

Pair of early 20th century bronze altar censers from Japan. They are called Kuru and are a part of the ritual items required for a Buddhist altar. They have extensive scrolling foliage type decoration on the body, the two handles have the Shishi design, and they stand on 4 feet. They have traces of gold leaf applied to them and have different inscriptions at the base of each. The lids are missing and they can be used as a pair of vases. Can be bought as a pair or as singles.
