Vintage silver plated ciborium decorated with an intricate pattern of acanthuses and oval cartouches. The wide cup has a scalloped border with a beautiful design of scrolls. The repousse work on this piece is absolutely exquisite. This may have been a ceremonial piece in a church, and now would make a beautiful centerpiece to carry flowers or fruits.
