Ecclesiastical brass candle stand with a fluted column rising out of a urn-shaped knop. The tripartite base stands on 3 scrolled lion feet, and the plinth has a bas-relief of Jesus, Mary and the Sacred heart on the three sides. The gadrooned sconce has a really tall pricket. This candlestand would have belonged to a church altar in Kerela or Goa, and should be from the early 1900s.
