Rare Chinese wine ewer in blue and white porcelain and glaze, with an ovoid body and a tiny spout. The handle is also made of porcelain and has flowers where it is attached to the body of the pot. The body has a beautiful hand painting of a fenghuang, an immortal bird whose rare appearance is said to be an omen foretelling good luck, peace and happiness. It is depicted in a flower garden on both sides of the pot. This ewer is of significant age.
