Old Soul Figure VII

Vintage sculpture of a resting woodcutter sitting with his axe on a tied bundle of wood. The cap on his back has a beautiful woven texture. This is an incredibly detailed sculpture where even the muscles in his neck and the folds in his clothes are clearly defined. There is a marking at the back for those who can read the stamp. Either from Japan or China, early to mid 1900s.
