Beautiful, very large, and ornately detailed Chinese incense burner cast in heavy brass. It is of rounded bombe form raised on tripod claw feet & the body, handles and cover are decorated with dragons, foo lions and mythical creatures in great sculptural detail. May have been a ritual incense burner at a Buddhist temple at some point. The heads of one of the creatures on the cover is missing, but the rest of it is in great vintage condition.
