Transferware plate with the “Medici” Pattern, with the Persian text in the front “Farmayesh-i 110 Kwinland London 1296” which translates to “Order 110 Queenland London 1296”. The underside has the mark “Medici”. This plate was made for the Iranian market , and is attributed to George Jones & Sons Ltd., Staffordshire, England. Ref: J Otte
