Very interesting Victorian kettle with a gargoyle where the spout begins, continuing as a bird neck and head with an open beak for the spout. An eagle with its wings spread, either just landing or taking off, serves as the finial, and the kettle stands on four beautiful floral feet. The handle is also beautiful with acanthus leaves on a woven texture, and the body of the kettle is hand engraved. A unique piece for any teapot collection.
