This “palace size” Iranian Kerman hand-knotted carpet showcases the timeless all-over floral pattern, a hallmark of classical Persian weaving. Originating from Kerman Province in southeastern Iran, the rug features a richly detailed field filled with harmonious botanical patterns arranged in perfect balance of symmetry and colour. The deep navy ground is beautifully contrasted with soft ivory, warm reds, blush rose. A carpet of this size would have taken a team of 3 weavers 18 to 24 months of work. Kerman rugs have long been favoured for palaces for their beauty, durability and their size.
