This exquisite hand-knotted carpet originates from the Qum Province of Iran, a region celebrated for producing some of the finest and most artistic Persian rugs. Woven in the elegant French pattern, this carpet reflects strong European influence interpreted through Persian craftsmanship. The design features a richly ornamented central medallion set against a deep red field, surrounded by scrolling vines, palmettes, and floral arabesques in perfect symmetry. The high knot density leads to very detailed pattern definition and smooth texture. It is also crafted from Kork wool (very soft wool from the neck of the sheep) for its has a natural sheen on a high-quality cotton foundation for a luxurious finish and lasting durability.This is an absolute work of art.
